Hinduism

Hinduism is known as the religion of many gods. Unlike most of the other Eastern religions Hinduism does claim to believe in a myriad amount of gods.

Buddhism began in India, but became more popular in Southeast Asian countries. The founder of Buddhism, Siddhartha Gautama, never claimed to be god, but he came up with a way to live life based on getting rid of desire.  

Confucianism

Confucianism developed in China and some would argue it is not a religion. The teachings of Confucius continue to this day to have a profound impact on Chinese society.

Islam began on the Arabian peninsula in the 600s A.D. The founder of the religion was Muhammed.
